Si Martin

Si Martin founded Heads Above The Waves in 2013 as a response to his lived experience of dealing with self-harm. Playing drums replaced self-harm for him as a coping mechanism, and has led to him touring the world playing drums for the past 10 years. Si’s motivation in life is to try and help others not have to go through the same struggles that he did. HATW has been running workshops for young people who self-harm, as well as the parents/carers and staff supporting them, since 2014.
